Located just a few kilometers from Montpellier, the Domaine de Massane is an exceptional place, renowned for the richness of its facilities and the quality of the experience it offers.
This project was custom-designed, the result of cross perspectives and constructive collaboration. It was centered around a thoughtful reflection on materials, the rhythm of spaces, and an overall artistic approach. Inspired by the surrounding landscapes and the winding lines of the golf course, the project aims to establish a continuity, a fluid connection between architecture and nature: a seamless transition from the landscape to the interior.
Like the course, the interior architecture unfolds in elegant curves, subtle plays of materials, sculptural objects, and soft, enveloping spatial sequences. Special attention has been given to light, a central element of the project. Wood, in particular, was chosen for its warmth and its ability to interact with natural light, which shapes the volumes and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Artificial light, on the other hand, extends this experience by offering other sensitive perceptions of the space.
The ambition of the project is to provide every user — both the operator and the visitor — with a true “symmetry of attentions,” where the space reflects and supports the quality of human experiences, in a coherent and immersive vision.
